Our story

All businesses start with a problem that needs solving. In 2011, our founder and CEO, Scott Smyth, noticed a gap in the market while working as a Quantity Surveyor for major contractors. He recognised the need for a consultancy firm combining practical project management expertise with experienced cost consultancy. Soben was created.

Since 2011, from our Glasgow headquarters, we have expanded across the globe. We now have over 250 professionals dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients on six continents.
