Pete Lovick, a Managing Quantity Surveyor for Soben, took time out of his busy working schedule yesterday to deliver a guest lecture at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU).
With over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Pete had a lot of advice and knowledge to share with the undergraduate audience as he spoke about the principles and practices of estimating.
Pete’s lecture was the first of a series for Soben that Director Edward McCluskey has organised with Dr Valentah Siamuzwe-Manase, Associate Dean at the School of Computing Engineering and Built Environment at GCU.
We would like to thank GCU and Dr Siamuzwe-Manase for allowing us to participate in the estimating programme, and we look forward to our next guest lecture session in November.
