Soben is expanding its hiring capabilities by sponsoring E-2 Visas for British Quantity Surveyors.

We are thrilled to announce that Soben is now able to sponsor E-2 visas, enabling us to hire talented British Quantity Surveyors into our US operations. The new scheme marks a key milestone for Soben as we expand our talent pool and strengthen our commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients in North America.

The E-2 visa program allows foreign nationals from treaty countries, including the UK, to work in the United States. Joining the program means Soben can now tap into the rich talent pool of experienced British Quantity Surveying professionals living and working in the US.

Commitment to US talent

The sponsorship scheme emphasizes Soben’s commitment to the US market, where we have been operating since 2021. The RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) qualifications held by British Quantity Surveyors are highly respected worldwide. These rigorous certifications, recognized for their stringent standards and comprehensive training, ensure that qualified professionals possess a deep understanding of the industry’s best practices, and uphold the highest ethical standards.

The move to welcome British professionals to our US business reinforces Soben’s promise of client excellence. We are committed to bringing the highest levels of professionalism and latest best practices to clients in every location where we operate. The move comes at a time of significant growth for Soben’s US business. The company’s work with some of the largest data centre operators in the region continues to go from strength to strength; alongside expansion in sectors including Life Sciences, where Soben has been working on a multi-billion-dollar manufacturing and R&D plant in the South-East of the country.

Making a meaningful contribution

Initially, recruitment will focus on British professionals already residing in the US, who will benefit from a competitive salary, relocation package, comprehensive medical benefits, 401K match, flexible vacation, and the opportunity to work on some of the country’s most exciting construction projects.

Joe Cusick, CEO Americas for Soben said:

“We are delighted to announce that we can now sponsor E-2 visas for British Quantity Surveyors,” “This expansion of our hiring capabilities aligns perfectly with our growth strategy, and underscores our dedication to providing the highest level of service to our clients. In a competitive market, the ability to sponsor British nationals is a differentiator for Soben – something we’re finding our competitors increasingly unable to offer.”

Ana Liesch, HR Director, Soben Americas said:

“Soben has a  fantastic culture, where ambitious professionals have the freedom to make a meaningful contribution to a growing business. We’ve got a record number of open roles across our US business, and I’m delighted we can welcome talented British nationals living in the States to apply.”

Soben will provide comprehensive support and guidance to new hires throughout the visa transfer process, ensuring a seamless transition into the company’s US business.
