EVERYBODY knows that Paul Moultrie is the Chairman of Soben CC – so what is Managing Director Scott Smyth doing with a shiny new seat?
Truth be told, Scott was presented with the chair by Hood Seating to recognise his outstanding performance on the Business Growth Programme at Cranfield University in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
Scott – who has been in the hot seat at Soben since setting up the company in 2011 – was rewarded for developing an outstanding business plan that had clear objectives and a precise action plan to achieve these objectives.
He was also recognised for supporting other members on the BGP programme.
Jamie Hood and Paul Rutt, who are directors of Hood Seating, who are based in London and north Wales, presented Scott with the chair at the Soben headquarters in East Kilbride.
Take a bow, Scott. Or, should that be: “Take a seat!”
