Tell us about your role at Soben:
My role within the human resources department consists of providing support to the Talent Acquisition Manager with the pre-onboarding of new employees, implementation of new software, searching for new talent as well as providing general administrative support.
What does a typical working day look like for you?
My typical working day is very busy. I am in constant communication with the department with any tasks that require my attention. I am a full-time mother, so working for Soben part-time has given me the flexibility to prioritize my work-life balance.
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Soben family?
What I enjoy most is the work ethic and teamwork. Working for Soben has shown me that being human and having issues is just a part of your day and having people that support and understand you makes the work environment more enjoyable.
What are your career goals over the next 12-18 months?
I aspire to continue to develop new skills. I am happy in my current position but always look out for new opportunities. My career goals are to grow with the company and make it a great place to work.
How do you unwind after a busy week at work?
I usually take a walk in the middle of the working day to relieve any stress build up as well as spend time with my family during the weekend which allows me to recharge my energy for the new week.
How would your colleagues describe you?
I think they would describe me as a kind person that is willing to help and do the best I can. They know that if I don’t have the answer, I will make an effort to find it for them. I am reliable and am always open for constructive criticism.
